Project Details

McCarthy Group were awarded the Nundle Transfer Station Project for Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) in 2021. This project began with clearing the site of vegetation & engaging in tree removal where necessary. Once this was completed, we then began the process of landfill closure and capping by supplying and placing 26,000m3 of fill. In addition to this our works also included the construction of 6000m2 of sealed hardstand/road and a small vehicle transfer station. As the Principal Contractor for this Project, we also delivered high quality Project Management and Supervision of Earthworks within a contaminated site. TRC were also beyond satisfied with our high level of Environmental, Quality Assurance and WHS compliance in association with our ISO accreditation and certified Integrated Management System (IMS).
