Project Details

McCarthy Group was awarded the civil works package for Lingard Private Hospital in May 2017.

The scope of works for this project included:

  • Supervision & management, survey, QA documentation, WHS compliance.
    Site establishment.
  • Removal of all existing vegetation inside the work area.
  • Demolition and removal of existing hard stand and concrete.
  • Import of approximately 2500 tonnes of select material.
  • Construction of certified piling platform for the piling contractor.
  • Detailed excavation.
  • Final trim of building pad once the piling contractors had demobilised.

This project had many challenges such as traffic, tight working area and groundwater however even with these constraints, the project was delivered on time and under budget.
